Stirling Swing & Soul Band

A fantastic musical cocktail of Sophisticated Swing and Rat Pack classics, together with high energy Soul and Classic Pop. They are a Swing band and a Soul Band, with just the right ingredients to make your wedding, private or corporate event truly remarkable from the very first note. You get an amazing repertoire to suit all tastes and moods, from Sinatra, the Rat Pack, and Buble to Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett and many more.

Stirling Lounge Band
Create the ultimate background ambience for your corporate, cocktail, awards and hospitality events with superb renditions of classic lounge tunes from The Lounge Band. From vintage beatnik to ambient bossas, crooner and retro classics, smooth jazz vibes, and modern day hits with a lounge twist, their distinctive repertoire offers you one great tune after another. Whether for smooth ambient background, or to keep your party dance floor busy, choose The Stirling Band for your entertainment.

Line-ups
– Quartet (piano, vocals, bass, drums)
– Quintet – male vocal/guitar, piano, vocals, bass, drums and 1 horn
– 6 piece – male vocal/guitar, piano, vocals, bass, drums a and 2 horns
– 7 piece – male vocal/guitar, piano, vocals, bass, drums and 3 horns
– 9 piece – male vocal/guitar, piano, vocals, bass, drums and 5 horns

As you add more horns, the sound becomes richer and fuller. They can also add extra female vocals to each band size to extend the repertoire even further. An ideal formula is to set the mood in the first part of the evening with a couple of sets of Swing, Rat Pack and Big Band classics, followed by a Classic Soul and Pop set to really get the party cooking! They also have a full selection of traditional Hebrew and Hora tunes for Jewish Weddings.

Quartet (piano, vocals, bass, drums)
Ideal for smaller, more intimate gatherings to create a sophisticated and mellow atmosphere in the style of Tony Bennett and Burt Bacharach, allowing you and your guests to talk & be heard whilst still getting people on the dance floor!

Vocal Duo/Trio
For more intimate events, Stirling can also perform with a simple Piano or Piano/Bass accompaniment. This line-up can also be included as an introduction to an evening, for example before the band/DJ plays or as guests are arriving.

Technical Specification:
The band will need a level stage/performance area, size depending on the line-up, with at least 4 x 13 amp sockets. The band will also need a room to change and store belongings, with a proper hot meal and soft drinks/refreshments. Please see attached technical specification for the large repertoire.

Standard Length of Performance:
The band usually perform 2 x 50 minutes or 3 x 40 minutes sets.
