The electro dub rock collision that is Subgiant has infected the UK Festival scene, with their seminal track “Filthy” becoming a staple on the live club scene too. After remixing Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” and Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name Of” to devastating effect, Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank picked up on the sound and promptly booked them up to play Bestival, and has done for the last 6 years. The band has now rocked nearly every UK festival.

Here’s what Subgiant’s clients said:
A live act to check, electronica at its best!
BBC Radio 1
The highlight of the whole festival however had to be the final act that closed Friday night, the live electronic performance of Subgiant. These guys put on a stunning show as the drummer relentlessly pounded out massive beats, reinforced with some lovely basslines and great scratching, their musicality shone through as they seemed to dip into every dance genre and still come out smiling.
Talented musicians squandering their talents on dance music, that’s what we like to see.
