Roger has been a full-time, freelance caricaturist for over 25 years. His client list reads like an A to Z of British industry, from American Express to Warner Music! Booked in venues from Kidderminster to Kuala Lumpur, he has entertained at trade exhibition stands, banquets, golf, cricket and racing days, car launches…the full range of corporate events.
A bespoke supplier of spot cartoons, strip cartoons, advertising, book and magazine illustration in the past seventeen years he has built up an enviable reputation in the field of corporate entertainment as a live caricaturist.
Roger was voted the top live caricature artist in Britain in 1995 for his ability to produce superbly accurate likenesses in an incredible 3 minutes flat. Booked in venues from Kidderminster to Kuala Lumpur, he has entertained royalty and royally, for VIPs such as HRH Princess Anne and PM’s from John Major to Tony Blair, and received whispered encouragement from Frank Bruno MBE (his exact words were “You take liberties with me and I’ll put you in a grow bag“). Heady stuff! Who says caricature isn’t exciting? Roger is essentially a kind, pleasant man who produces caricatures that please not punish. There are also are pre-printed bodies available!
Whatever your interests or hobbies are Roger can draw you doing them! Roger sometimes preprints the paper with bodies appropriate to the event. This enables him to draw the caricatures quicker so you get more drawn and you get a more elaborate drawing! (see headless body drawings below)
