Sony Award-nominated radio presenter Matt Edmondson is well known for his BBC Radio 1 broadcasts with Fearne Cotton and taking over Vernon Kay’s and Sara Cox’s shows. From a young age Matt had ambitions to pursue a career in broadcasting. His first step in to the business came when he was a writer for SMTV, then Matt gained notoriety as a charismatic interviewer for Holy Moly TV. Contraband works in association with the artists’ direct representative.

Matt Edmonson’s energetic and individual style is reflected in his work as the presenter for music show Freshly Squeezed on Channel 4. He has also completed two series of weekly music show Pocket TV, making his mark and getting even closer to his future radio career. With his star on the rise, Matt Edmondson became the official face of The Fan Factor, an online show that was broadcast on the ITV website, looking at events from the high X-Factor live shows with a cheeky edge.

It was not long before Radio 1 snapped up Matt Edmonson and his endearingly engaging personality, signing him up for his own show, The Matt Edmondson Show, which airs on Wednesday nights from 9-10pm.
