Book Jules and Matisse
Britain’s Got Talent Winner 2015
Jules O’Dwyer & Matisse are a British dog dancing act, comprising trainer Jules O’Dwyer and her dog Matisse, a border collie. Together they won the ninth series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2015.
To work properly she requires a large stage with a level smooth non slip floor just like a tv studio or theatre which is then carpeted. Working on a field or grass surface out in the open is extremely difficult.
Her shows normally require a fully dressed or purpose built set to suit each story. Her individual props she normally has built at home to suit the individual dog and their specific action so that she can train the actions leading up to any show.
Performances could be structured to suit certain themes with enough notice of course.
Although the dogs are friendly with people and children, (thinking of meet and greet etc) when doing live shows it is advisable not to involve actors or children who have not had sufficient time spent training with the dog – the best results are without doubt just Julie and her dogs on stage with a prepared script well rehearsed.
