Jon is a fantastic, spectacular and totally original artist. He has developed shows that are ideal for all kinds of events, available in a variety of mediums. He is sure to provide great corporate entertainment at your event.
Jon has been appearing in his current incarnation since 2000, after studying Fine Art to degree level in the 1980’s. He worked across Britain as a busking pavement artist throughout the 80’s and early 90’s, whilst also producing work to commission. He then went on to work as a scenic artist, creating art for film, TV and the music industry.
Now Jon has created three meticulously rehearsed shows, choreographed to music, that provide the powerful spectacle of an artist in action. In addition to this, Jon is also a highly acclaimed pavement artist.
All performances are suitable, in slightly different formats, for any live event – from street festivals to corporate functions.
If you would like a 25 – 30 minute painting/drawing show, then Jon can accomodate.
Jon’s pavement art is perfect for corporate promotion. He can create images from his extensive repertoire, or he will produce an image specifically to suit the client’s needs. Having spent many years creating art for himself and others, his talents are finely tuned, and have been featured in the national press and numerous TV shows. Given a brief, Jon will practise the work at his studio and then create it live for an audience. Jon can enlist the help of assistants to create very large scale projects, or he can produce the work alone. Jon’s shows are adaptable to all events, from high speed performances (see Icons and Bigger) to works over hours or days.
He would bring his own canvas and collapsible frame. His frame opens up to 6ft high x either 4ft wide or 8ft wide, so this is how large his paintings normally are but he can do larger or smaller. For the paintings that he spins round at the end, they are always 6ft x 4ft.
A pavement piece of art takes a day to complete, if not more – depending on the design.

Islington International Festival
I’m writing to let you know how very pleased everyone was with the painting that Jon did at our event on Saturday. In the short timeframe that he was given the result was outstanding…it truly depicts what we requested and will symbolise our first Open House event here in Oxford for some time in the future. Thanks very much to him and you too. It has been a pleasure to work with the both of you.
Harley Owner’s Group
It went perfectly – there were a few tricky moments with the police and the neighbours, but we got away with it. The drawing came up great, both guys did a fantastic job, it looked top notch, and they really went for it, 7 hours straight without a break, in very cold conditions – the client was really happy, and the stunt got loads of attention on the day. Hopefully it will feature in some papers etc as well. Overall Jon did a great job and was a top guy, and everyone this end is really happy.
It went very well! Jon was easy to work with and very charming. He helped with our guests and the image he created was lovely.
