Jazz Trio
New Moon Jazz is a classy and sophisticated Jazz trio dedicated to getting your event going with a swing! A versatile act made up of female vocals, double bass and guitar. The Jazz trio can perform as a quartet and quintet if required for a larger event with additional drums, trumpet and sax. New Moon Jazz are a compact unit that bring a touch of the golden age of Hollywood to any sized venue. Having trained at some of London’s top conservatoires, including the Guildhall School of Music and Drama & Trinity Laban, they are highly skilled performers. They also have a huge breadth of knowledge of the genre and a passion for the style that brings joy to audiences of all ages.
The Jazz trio have worked across London’s top venues including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, the Vortex, 100 Club, the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Albert Hall and many others. In addition to this, they have also performed internationally in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, India, Brazil, Norway, Poland, Hungary, Sweden, Denmark, Taiwan, Belgium and Finland. The Jazz trio’s lead singer was the resident singer for the National Youth Jazz orchestra from 2014/2015. Since then she has shared the stage with, jazz legend, Lianne Carroll and Strictly Superstar Tommy Blaize and performed with ensembles of all sizes from duos to a full-size studio orchestra with strings. She has been described by London Jazz News as “A bold stage and vocal presence.”
New Moon Jazz can match their attire to your occasion and will happily wear era-appropriate costumes to match your Gatsby Party, Blitz Party or 1950’s themed event. They can also cater to song requests and are willing to tailor their sets to fit your event.
