Gypsy Jazz Quartet

The Paris quartet is one of the UK’s leading Gypsy Jazz bands. The musicians in the band have collectively performed at hundreds of events throughout Europe, for Warner Records, Shirley Bassey, Jamie Cullum and on the BBC period drama ‘The Peaky Blinders’. The quartet is made up of Piano Accordion & vocals, Double bass and two acoustic guitars. Other musicians who play the violin, trumpet, clarinet, percussion or drums are available as optional extras. The band is perfect for background music as well as a main-stage act to get your guests dancing.

Through an extraordinary collection of well-known songs and their signature sound comprised of a vibrant, hybrid blend of sweet Gypsy Jazz, Bossa Nova, Tango, Italian folk and French Musette styles fused seamlessly together. The Paris Quartet explores music’s most timeless genres that bring listeners into a sparkling, nostalgia-filled mood. This Gypsy Jazz Quartet know how to get a party going and will leave your guests smiling their way onto the dance floor. The Paris Quartet love performing together, and this comes across during their live shows.

The band usually performs 2 x 60-minute sets with a short break in-between and can play with or without amplification, which is perfect for venues that have noise restrictions as well enabling clients to have music where electric is not available. The band are also happy to take a request and learn a first dance song for your wedding. The band are extremely professional, always arrive on time, well dressed and very good at communicating with clients which are shown in their testimonials. The team is also able to work with any specific dress requirements such as black tie.

The Paris Quartet’s equipment is of the highest quality to ensure the best possible sound is achieved, all the instruments in the band were handmade by some of the best instrument makers in the world. The equipment is also safety PAT tested.
