The Highliners are a 4-piece band that are ideal for any event. They use professional backing tracks to enhance their sound & consist of stunning male vocals, drums, guitar & bass.

Featuring some of the most in demand musicians within the London music scene, The Highliners have years of experience performing throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

The Highliners offer versatility that can’t always be accomplished by a larger band. They have performed throughout the UK and are equally comfortable performing to 200 at a corporate event or 30 people at an intimate party. They have an extensive repertoire which includes modern soulful hits by Sam Smith and John Newman through to up tempo songs by classic artists including Stevie Wonder and James Brown.

The Highliners performer bios:

Kwamena Brace – Singer
Born to a Finnish mother and Ghanaian father Kwamena has been involved with music from a young age. He started playing piano and sax at the age of 7 and was also a member of a boys choir. After coming to UK he started studying for a Bachelors degree in music which he recently graduated from. After living in 3 countries he is influenced by many genres and seamlessly blends them together with his baritone voice. Having performed in various venues across the country and his native country of Finland, Kwamena has a wide range of musical experiences.

Alex Villar – Guitar
After Being Inspired By the music of the 60s, Alex Villar, who grew up in Brazil, decided to take up the Guitar at the age of 11. Then going on to be taught by Violinist and composer Barney Smith, he moved to London to Study at Tech Music school and work as a session musician, where he regularly performs with artists in genres ranging from Latin and Jazz to Folk, Rock and Hip- Hop.

Frederico – Drums
Federico is a talented drummer and producer from Italy based in North London. He moved to London to study drums at the age of eighteen, at Tech Music School where he completed a Bachelors in Popular Music Performance. After graduating, Federico has been working freelance on many different projects, and has played with many different artists in major venues all around London and Europe. He is now pushing forward with his up and coming project Rumours as they are about to release their debut EP.

Graham – Various Instruments
Graham is a talented multi-instrumentalist currently residing in West London. After being fascinated by music from an early age, he decided to pursue a career in music, studying at Royal Holloway, Uni of London. Graham currently teaches and performs as a session musician, having been fortunate to have shared stages and studios with current chart-topping artists. He has recently worked on his own solo material in 2017.
