Walkabout Gorillas
The Gorillas are a family of four realistic walkabout Mountain Gorillas accompanied by their explorer friend. The Walkabout Gorillas are incredibly popular with everyone. As well as being fun and visually stunning, the act has a strong message concerning the threat currently facing Mountain Gorillas and deals directly with the fact that, at the time of writing, there are only 700 Mountain Gorillas left in the whole world.
The explorer, although played with comedy, informs the audience on how they can have a direct impact on saving the Mountain Gorillas from extinction and as a consequence, help reduce global warming. These environmental issues are paramount to the performers ethos. The Walkabout Gorillas act is an educational and amusing act, designed to hold the attention of children and adults long enough to get this important message across.
3-5 performers are available for all kinds of events and occasions.
Standard Length of Performance:
The standard length of performance is 3 x 25 minutes, however if the performance space is very close to the changing area the Walkabout Gorillas can perform for 3 x 30 minutes.
