Book Tears For Fears
Tears For Fears topped the charts in the ’80s with world-wide hits such as “Shout”, “Everybody Wants To Rule The World “, “Sowing The Seeds Of Love”, “Head Over Heels”, and “Advice For The Young At Heart”. Tears for Fears has sold over 17,000,000 albums.
After “The Hurting” LP was released in ’83, TFF continued building on their success with “Songs From The Big Chair” in 85, and “The Seeds Of Love” in ’89. Following the release of their third platinum-selling album, “The Seeds of Love” (1989), Smith and Orzabal parted company, though Orzabal retained the Tears for Fears name throughout the 1990s.
The duo reformed in 2000, and released an album of new material (“Everybody Loves a Happy Ending”) in 2004. To date, Tears for Fears have sold over 22 million albums worldwide, including more than 8 million in the U.S.
