Britain’s Got Talent Gymnasts
Spelbound are a gymnastic troupe comprising of 13 acrobatic gymnasts who are all either current or former Great Britain internationals. Spelbound’s energetic performance combines gymnastic talent with acrobatic style to make a stunning visual spectacle. The group have competed for their club and for Great Britain all over the world including winning medals at the 2009 World Games in Taiwan and the 2008 gymnastic World Championships in Poland.
Spelbound have been taught by Neil Griffiths who was head coach of their gymanstics club and have since been trained by many other top coaches and choreographers. Made up of 7 boys and 6 girls whose ages range from 12 to 24 the group auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent in early 2010 where they wowed the judges with their stylised performance and flew through to the live semi-finals. When they made it to the final stages they pulled out all the stops and were crowned Britain’s Got Talent winners on 5th June 2010 in fornt of 15 million television viewers. This brought the group the fantastic opportunity to appear at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Royal Family as well as catapulting them to world wide fame.
Mayor Boris Johnson has congratulated Spelbound as an excellent example to other young people and Simon Cowell has suggested them to open the 2012 Olympics in London. Now one of the best known acrobatic gymnastic groups in the world, Spelbound are going from strength to strength and are bringing their innovative and exciting act to more and more people in the UK and beyond. For indoor performances the minimum clearance height required is 25ft.

New for 2015:
The new James Bond film Spectre has been announced, and so Spelbound, stars of the Closing Ceremony of the Olympics and winners of Britain’s Got Talent, have created a new 9 minute routine with a James Bond film theme for your corporate events.
Featuring the songs of Adele (Skyfall), Shirley Bassey (Goldfinger), Madonna (Die Another Day) and Paul McCartney and Wings (Live and Let Die), the daredevil gymnastic routines mirror some of the familiar moves and scenes from the James Bond classic films. Some of the high balances will scare the living daylights out of you.
REQUIRMENTS AND SET TIMES
Spelbound – Britain’s Got Talent Gymnasts ‘s Requirements and Set Times:
The length of each show is approx. 3.5 minutes. You will need to have specific gym mats put down, if you can’t provide locally they’ll have to ship the mats out. 30ft x 30ft minimum of performance stage and minimum 25ft floor to ceiling.
