Sports Experience

This fun experience is a unique opportunity for you and your sport mad friend or family to Row alongside a Rio Olympic medallist at a date and venue of your mutual convenience. This two hour experience is tailored to your fitness levels. You will arrive at a boat club where you will be welcomed by the GB Medallist. You will have the chance to ask questions and to hear anecdotes from their career, which will introduce you to life as an elite rower. Initial coaching will be done on the rowing machines where advice on techniques will be given. Then to the boat shed, where the boat familiarisation will take place.

A quadruple scull will take to the water complete with the gold medallist and will have a training session on the water. Additional guests are welcome to watch proceedings throughout the day and, of course, to get their photos taken with the Athlete and the medal!
