Predominantly showcasing Mauritian Sega, the Fleur Dance Company’s choreographies add a little belly dancing spice and sass to the routines. In fact, their Sega fusion choreographies are so authentic that seven of their dancers were flown from London to Mauritius to perform at a client’s wedding – a pretty impressive seal of approval, for sure!
You can hire 3 – 7 Sega dancers (or more) to bring the sandy beaches, earthy rhythms and upbeat, happy vibes of Mauritius to the centre of your stage. The speed, style and colourful cheer of the routines is sure to capture and hold your guests’ attention, and the set(s) can be incorporated into any part of your event. Fleur Dance Company’s seamless blend of Sega and belly dance offers a unique dance experience that your guests have probably never seen before and will certainly want to see again!
Standard Sega dance packages:
– Option 1: two choreographed Sega fusion routines, (roughly 3 mins each) followed by improvised audience participation* and/or dancer walkabout for approx. 10-20 mins.
– Option 2: Two shows in one night! One set consisting of two Sega fusion routines (6 mins) in Sega costumes, and one set of more traditional belly dance choreographies (6-7 mins) in belly dance costumes, followed by improvised audience participation* and/or dancer walkabout
Bespoke Sega dance packages:
– Tell the team your requirements and they’ll work with you to bring your vision to life. Audience participation is optional. It’s often the easiest and most enjoyable way to get guests up onto the dancefloor – so if you don’t want to be the only one cutting some shapes, it’s a great option to choose!
