The year after, in 2001, saw Kylie releasing her next album called ‘Fever’, this also contained some disco elements combined with electropop and synthpop. It reached no. 1 in the Australian and UK charts as well as receiving worldwide success. The lead single ‘Can’t Get You out of My Head’ is one of her most successful tracks to date, reaching no. 1 in over 40 countries and selling more than 5 million copies.

In 2005 Kylie Minogue went on her Showgirl: The Greatest Hits Tour and she was diagnosed with breast cancer the same year. After undergoing treatment, she resumed the tour under the title Showgirl: The Homecoming Tour, it was an absolute success and many critics called it a ‘triumph’. Additionally, Kylie Minogue did some more work as an actress and appeared in the films Moulin Rouge!, Jack & Diane, and Holy Motors. In 2014, she was asked to be a judge on the third series of The Voice UK and The Voice Australia. The other business ventures she has embarked on include product endorsements, children books and fashion.
