Blues de Soiree are an instrumental jazz & bossa nova quartet that play finger-snappin’ jazz, swing and bossa nova music. Their music sits comfortably in the background, creating the perfect atmosphere for guests to converse more and stay longer. Blues de Soiree craft a unique vibe by not leaving gaps in between songs, playing at a volume that never overpowers conversation and crucially taking up minimal floor space!

The quartet are led by two hard-working London musicians who wanted to tackle the age-old problem of finding the right music that is relaxing and allows people to socialise. Together with upright-bass and a full-bodied jazz guitar, they deliver a sound that mixes smokey 60s jazz LPs with mellow Latin grooves.

Whether it’s a birthday celebration or just an excuse for a drinks party, Blues de Soiree’s small set-up means they can fit anywhere – from kitchens, living rooms and gardens. No matter the space, they can make it work! Blues de Soiree are known for turning networking evenings, launch nights and conferences into occasions to remember. Blues de Soiree are also accustomed to working in venues with noise limiters or ‘acoustic only’ music.

They’ve bought their jazz & bossa nova sound to the offices of FTSE 250 companies, terraces of investment firms overlooking St James’ park, and even to Barcelona to create the perfect summer backdrop for a staff summer party! Not only that, but Blues de Soiree regularly play at many of London’s most exclusive members’ clubs and cocktail bars, including Home House, The Devonshire Club and The Nightjar. The bands repertoire consists of Instrumental Jazz and Bossa Nova from 60’s era.
