Chinese Circus Act

Face-changing is a stunt in the art of Sichuan Opera. It is a technique which allows the artist to build characters and themes of romance in order to unveil the innermost thoughts and feelings of the characters in the opera.

With wonderful techniques, the stage performance of face-changing in Sichuan Opera has become a unique art. The colourful facial masks and mysterious face-changing one after another (our performer can do 12 face changes) give perfect presentation of both the shape and the spirit, and have lasting appeal. All those who have watched the face-changing performance in Sichuan Opera would acclaim it as the peak of perfection!
