BB Acrobalance Cabaret
Fresh from their sold-out Vegas tour, these 2 seasoned performers are delighted to present a heady mix of glamour and danger that guarantees to leave their audience gasping. BB perform extraordinary acrobalance and acrobatics. Their unique circus acts are both exquisitely beautiful and uproariously funny. Always stylish and of the highest quality their shows are ideal for circus, street festivals, corporate functions and cabarets. A comedy involving small hair attachments and very big egos.
Statues
Most frequently asked question: “Are they real?” With painstaking attention to detail the audience is treated to the site of two marble statuesque figures set on a classical white podium. Very slowly they come to life. There follows a mesmerising fusion of strength, grace and perfect fluidity of movement underscored with an emotion seemingly trapped within stone. Duration: From 5-20 mins as required, up to 2 times.
Adagio
A classic adagio stage act. An emotionally charged dance of technical precision performed with a reckless disregard for gravity. A breathtaking display of physical prowess, agility and grace seamlessly choreographed to music by Penguin Café Orchestra. Duration of act is 5 minutes and 15 seconds.
Man on a Pole
A simple and elegant piece of circus apparatus, the Chinese Pole, is the dramatic setting for this act. On top are handstand blocks. A wonderful connection with the audience combined with a breathtaking display of athletism and nerve make this an edge of your seat performance. The handbalance 7 meters above the heads of the audience makes for a real heart stopping finale. This act toured the UK for three months as part of NoFit State’s 2002 SciCircus show. The duration of act is 6 minutes. A minimum height of 5 meters is required and thorough rigging of the Pole needs to be discussed in advance. Where possible, a site vist undertaken in order to ascertain the suitability of the venue.
Adagio Winter Statues
On a glittering podium of snowflakes, these elegant characters slowly come to life. Their exquisite choreography fuses dance, stillness and slow-motion acrobatics to delight and enthrall all who come under their icy spell.
