Swing Band
Star Swing have performed at many corporate events and private functions all over the UK. They are perfectly suited to British, 1940s and World War themed events. As a stage show or dance band of any size, Star Swing boasts multi-instrumentalists and singers. They perform songs that brings together the styles of classic Big-Band, Jazz, Blues, “Rat Pack” and foot-stomping Jools Holland style. They can be booked as a big band or as a smaller ensemble.
They have also performed for BBC TV Children in Need, the TV cast of “Dad’s Army”, featured at Dame Vera Lynn’s Charity Balls, contestants of TV’s “Strictly Come Dancing”, Blenheim Palace, Chelsea Flower Show, and the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
Standard Length of Performance:
The band usually perform 3 x 45 minute sets or as apportioned by the client.
