Canapé Creations

With our expert chef on hand with tips and techniques your group will enjoy this challenge however good (or bad) they are in the kitchen. Our professional chef will demonstrate how to make a selection of stylish and tasty canapés. Then he will hand over to the group to have a try for themselves. Groups will need to copy the chefs examples and create a new canapé of their own creation. This can be a competition style event if required with our chef and catering assistants being the judges.The final canapé creations can be served at pre-dinner drinks or as a final snack before guests depart. Food always brings people together. Culinary activities create an environment that promotes creativity, communication and co-operation among participants. Canapés will be a hot and cold selection as we provide mobile equipment for the group to cook hot options.

Choc Attack Challenge

The Choc Attack Challenge is a favourite with everyone. The objective is for teams to build a box of original chocolates within a limited time scale and budget. They must also create the packaging and design a marketing strategy to sell their chocolate sensation to their target market. Teams need to plan their time carefully and watch their budget to ensure they can meet the requirements to; create and make a selection of chocolates, design a marketing strategy to take into account the sector, pricing, promotion, profit and brand, present ideas to the judges, create an advert to promote the chocolates. The end product will be scored on quality, profitability, originality, teamwork, variety and effectiveness of the marketing plan. Presentations at the end of the session prove to be a hilarious and great end to a perfect team challenge.

French ‘Patisseries’

With our expert Chef on hand with tips and techniques your group will enjoy this challenge however good (or bad) they are in the kitchen. Our professional chef will demonstrate how to make a selection of stylish and tasty French cakes & patisseries. Then he will hand over to the group to have a try for themselves. Groups will need to copy the chefs’ examples and make a selection of cakes. Each team must prepare and cook. This is a great activity with lots of scope for learning and being creative.Teams can ‘break bread’ and enjoy their cooking at the end of the session. This is the perfect activity to do during the afternoon as it gives an ideal excuse for a tea break and to enjoy succulent cakes & patisseries that the participants have made themselves. Gourmet Challenge

With our expert chefs on hand with tips and techniques your group will enjoy this challenge however good (or bad) they are in the kitchen. Food always brings people together. The aim is for teams to create a meal together ready to eat at a set time. Our professional chef will brief the participants on how to make a selection of tasty dishes. Each team must prepare and cook two courses. This can be a starter, main or dessert. This is a great activity with lots of scope for learning and being creative.Teams can ‘break bread’ and enjoy their cooking at the end of the session. Culinary activities create an environment that promotes creativity, communication and co-operation among participants.

Pasta Making

Whether you want to have a restaurant dinner or want to have some great recipes for Italian food to celebrate the evening at home, pasta is the best option. With our expert chef on hand with tips and techniques your group will enjoy this challenge however good (or bad) they are in the kitchen. Our professional chef will demonstrate how to make some fresh pasta and tasty fresh bread. Then he will hand over to the group to have a try for themselves. Groups will need to copy the chefs’ examples and make their own. This can be a competition style event if required with our chef and catering assistants being the judges. The final Pasta creations can be served at dinner or as a final snack before guests depart. Food always brings people together. The fresh pasta and bread made will also be cooked as we provide mobile equipment for the group to cook hot options.

The Cocktail Hour

With our expert Cocktail Master on hand with tips and techniques your group will enjoy this challenge however good (or bad) they are behind a bar! With our expert mixologist on hand you will learn about flavor profile and deconstructing of the spirits and be given various ingredients to squeeze, taste & smell. After an introduction and expert demonstration on how to use the cocktail equipment each group will make some well known cocktails and once they have mastered the equipment (or not) they will then select their own ingredients to adapt a well known cocktail to one of their own. The final ‘cocktail’ creations can be served at pre-dinner drinks or before guests depart. Food & Drinks always bring people together. These activities create an environment that promotes creativity, communication and co-operation among participants. This can be a competition style event if required with our cocktail Master and assistants being the judges.

Wine Challenge

Lead by our jovial expert, teams will firstly learn the techniques of tasting, learn about grape variety and practice their swirling, gurgling and spitting techniques. Armed with new knowledge and resources they can then move onto creating their own wine sensation. The group will be split into teams and each team will compete to win the approval of our wine merchant and take home a case of wine. The teams will blend wines and create their own packaging design from the materials supplied. Budgets must be adhered to but our merchant wants to appeal to a market with a highly developed sense of humour. At the end of the session each team will present its newly blended wine to the judges with hilarious results.
