In the midst of their adventures across the world, the humans discovered these peculiar pink flamingos. Fascinated by the elegance of the pink flamingos dances, they followed their migration on their ingenious flying machine to learn the pink flamingos language and their codes.

They became their friends and guides in the human lands. The Walkabout Flamingos invite you to share with them their mysterious rituals, in a wonderful luminous ballet.

The Walkabout Flamingos act includes 14 performers and 1 stage manager: 4 flamingos which are performed on stilts by puppeteers with inflated costumes, 2 dancers, 7 live musicians, 1 character with an articulated sound machine and 1 stage manager.

This Walkabout Flamingos act includes 8 performers and 1 stage/performance manager: 4 flamingos which are performed on stilts by puppeteers with inflated costumes, 2 dancers, 1 live musician, 1 character with an articulated sound machine and 1 stage manager.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

The Flamingos – Walkabout Characters’ Technical Specification:

The birds are 3.5m high so will need enough room to walk comfortably at indoor events. At outdoor events there will be some pyrotechnics, so there needs to be a considerably distance between performers and spectators.
