Children’s Craft Workshops’ Options:

Children’s Candle Decorating Party / Workshop
In this workshop they will demonstrate how to decorate candles using elaborate designs and brightly coloured malleable wax together with candle paint. Their newest medium of candle gel provides children with a glass jar in which to add colourful objects to the gel wax for fun. They also offer a hot wax service. Children above the age of 5 yrs can have a go at hot wax pouring. Participants will be able to make their candles from scratch using candle moulds, colour pigments, wax granules and wax crackers. They are on-hand at all times to help with designs, pouring and melting.

Children’s Ceramic Painting Party / Workshop
Adults and older children will enjoy painting mugs that will be dishwasher resistant once baked. Guests can try creative painting techniques onto tiles and mugs or plates using specialist ceramic paints of a high quality. Patterns, samples and designs will be supplied for those who need inspiration. Brightly coloured paints are applied with brushes and cotton buds to create amazing effects. Black, silver and gold leading is used to create outlines and to write messages or names onto the mugs and tiles. Fantastic fun for all ages and very popular.

Children’s Cookie & Cake Decorating Party / Workshop
An old favourite that children never get bored with is decorating cookies & cup cakes. Here they can decorate yummy cookies using coloured icing, dolly mixtures and lots more. Children can then take home their creation in the bags supplied or eat them there and then!

Children’s Crafty Box Party / Workshop
Craft Boxes come in all shapes and sizes great for decorative finishing. They demonstrate creative ways to decorate a craft box using the materials provided including shells, ribbon, dried pot pouri and much more.
Deluxe Foam Frenzy – Deluxe Foam Frenzy is fun for the younger children. Using pre-cut, brightly coloured foam shapes fantastic projects can be created very simply. Children get to create bedroom door names, bookmarks and picture frames. A bright and colourful workshop which catches the eye of all the younger crafters!

Children’s Decopatch Party / Workshop
Decopatch is the art of decorating an item by gluing a variety of assorted paper types, cut outs and shapes onto an object. Craft Workshops will provide guests with a choice of papermache items. The item is then covered by the cut outs and each layer is sealed in multiple coats of special adhesive. The finished result looks like a painting and creates a fantastic finished item. A great craft, which combines an educational aspect, introduces a new craft and is something that can be enjoyed by all.

Children’s Fabric Painting Party / Workshop
Guests will fabric paint onto items made from Calico material. The most popular items to paint are cloth bags and t-towels. The fabric paints they use can be sealed by a hot iron, which will allow items to be washed and used at home. Fabric painting is most suited to older children and adults as painting techniques need patience and precision to create the right results!

Children’s Flower Pot Painting Party / Workshop
Brightly coloured terracotta pots look great out in the garden or even in the house. Guests will be supplied with a terracotta pot, which they can then transform into funky and colourful creations. Mosaics and glass beads can be added to create another dimension to these fab pots. Designs will be available, as will examples of pots already painted. Have fun!

Children’s Funky Frames Party / Workshop
An absolute favourite for all ages. There is lots of room for individual style in this workshop and it is very popular especially with adults. Various techniques will be demonstrated showing how a simple frame can be decorated. This includes mosaic, glass beads, dried pasta, pot pour, sparkles, glitter, sponging and much more. Guests will all go home with a frame!

Children’s Glass Painting Party / Workshop
Glass painting always seems to be the busiest area! Glass painting is not about being naturally artistic but being creative with tools and materials. The glass paints used are of the best quality and will allow guests to wash and use their newly painted glassware at home.

Children’s Greeting Card Party / Workshop
Faced with blank greeting cards, guests have to decorate and design them with, dried flowers, paper crafts, quilling, collage, sequins, ribbons, stamps, toppers, gems and anything else they so desire. Once decorated the cards can be used for any special occasion such as birthdays, Christmas, Easter, to say “sorry” or “I love you”. The range of blank greeting cards includes a broad selection of shapes and designs and they all come with envelopes.

Children’s Pasta Art Plaque Party / Workshop
This is a really fun workshop offering plenty of scope to create decorative plaques, which can be hung or inserted into a picture frame for display. Each individual will be given a wooden plaque to make a creative pattern. They then have a selection of colourful shapes of pasta, beans and lentils which they can use to stick and define their decorative patterns. A most enjoyable workshop for all ages and easy to follow examples.

Children of all ages can get crafty decorating bandanas, treasure chests and eye patches!

Children’s Silk Painting Party / Workshop
Silk painting is a delicate craft where patience and precision is required. The craft tutor will give a demonstration on how to paint onto silk. Then it will be over to the guests to have a go themselves under the guidance of the tutor. Participants can paint onto silk hankies and silk greeting cards, making decorative items which can be displayed or used time and time again.

Children’s Suncatcher Workshop Party / Workshop
Great for children aged 3 yrs and above. This new workshop enables younger ones to now have a go at using special glass paints and glass painting pens without the need to handle glass. Fantastic fun and very colourful!

Children’s T-Shirt Painting Party / Workshop
Guests will be supplied with a T-shirt (various sizes available), fabric marker pens, paint, fabric pastels and stencils to help with their designs. T-shirts can be painted on both sides and instructions given on how to make them washable. For an extra charge they can screen-print company logos onto the T-shirts in advance. Great fun and can be used time and time again to remember the day!

Children’s Wooden Workshops Party / Workshop
They can be really flexible with this workshop, providing either a fun mixture of items or a deluxe trinket box or similar. Participants will be able to use high quality acrylic paints, gems, transfers, decoupage to use on their items, which can be displayed as decorative items. A really creative workshop using plenty of colourful paints and more!
Christmas Workshops

Children’s Poinsettia Christmas Pots Party / Workshop
This is a colourful and fun workshop, where children are given the opportunity to paint their very own poinsettia pot and decorate it using an assortment of magical Christmas embellishments. Specialist paints are available together with fabric, sparkles glitter ribbon and much more. Suitability ages 5 yrs upwards (even adults!).

Children’s Christmas Make & Take Party / Workshop
If its variety you’re after this workshop has it all! Children will decorate Christmas cards & gift tags, Christmas Crowns, Christmas Foam Door Hangers and foam masks, Baubles & Tree Hangers and anything else that can be found to amuse kids. Smaller crafters will have lots of Christmas colouring ideas to choose from cards, gift bags and more. They’ve got sparkles & glitter galore and their elves are on hand to make this workshop a very magical experience. Suitability ages 3 yrs upwards (even adults!)

Children’s Christmas Candles & Holders Party / Workshop
The elves will help crafters to decorate their Christmas candles using special malleable wax and wax pens. They will demonstrate Christmas designs for those choosing glass holders using specialist glass paints and pens! Candles are included to put inside! (They do ask that when working with glass children should be with a parent at all times). Suitability ages 5 yrs upwards (even adults!)

Mrs Santa’s Cookie & Cake Decorating Party / Workshop
Mrs Santa has put her two best elves in charge of the cookie corner and as a special treat, children will be able to decorate and eat cookies & cakes using icing sugar, icing writing, Smarties, silver balls, dolly mixtures and lots more treats, a great party atmosphere workshop. Christmas bags will be supplied as usual to carry them home. Suitability ages 3 yrs upwards.

Children’s Christmas Picture Frames Party / Workshop
This is a fabulous item to make and take home. It gives children a real sense of creativity and achievement. Guests will be able to decorate straight on to their wooden frames or paint them using our specialist paints, they can then add holly, gems, tinsel, embellishments, sparkles, glitter and more to give them that Christmas Glamour. Each frame holds a standard sized photo 4”x6” or if you prefer 5”x7”. Each item will be popped into a bag to be taken home with them as a great souvenir of the day! Suitability ages 5 yrs upwards!
Christmas Tree Hangers & Trinket Boxes – This is a great Christmas workshop for the younger crafters to get involved in. Children can choose to decorate a tree hanger & a trinket papier-mâché box with lid, which they can then paint decorate with an array of Christmas sparkles, gems, magical embellishments, tinsel, glitter and lots more. Suitability ages 4 yrs upwards!

Children’s Chinese New Year Party / Workshop
From decor pens, Chinese themed stickers, sequins, feathers, ribbons, glitter glue, buttons and much more, children gain in confidence, self-esteem, teamwork and kindness together in celebrating the Chinese culture by getting crafty together decorating Chinese fans. For Chinese New Year Workshops children can transform themselves into dragons for the day or they can personalise their own Chinese lantern. From design-a-dogs to monsters and Pokemon lanterns and traditionally decorated Chinese lanterns, children of all ages most certainly will enjoy these workshops.

Children’s Happy Easter Bunnies Drawstring Bag Party / Workshop

Children’s Easter Egg Decorating Party / Workshop
An egg-citing day for children where children can demonstrate their creative culinary talents using sweet treats to personalise their own Easter eggs. A workshop choc-a-bloc with family fun!

Children’s Halloween Lantern Party / Workshop
Little ones will transform a simple paper lantern into their own hair-raising Halloween character using felt pens, card, ribbons, feathers, googly eyes and oodles of spooky themed decorations. This involves lots of crafty treats and of course pure imagination alongside our spooky crew for haunting inspiration, help and guidance!

All of these workshops are suitable for corporate parties, festivals, exhibitions, children’s parties & private functions. The minimum amount of children required for a workshop is 10, the maximum is 100 (Although they can cater for more, but additional costs will apply). The Craft Workshops can be held indoors or outdoors. Each workshop seats approx 18 children at any one time. They provide 2 x staff for the 1st workshop booked. Each Christmas workshop runs continuously.

Guests are free to sit down at leisure at any time during the day and creative an item. They will then start work on their own project, with the art instructors on hand to guide and advise them. All the workshops allow guests to take their masterpieces home with them at the end of the day.

Standard Length of Workshop:
The Children’s Craft Workshops lasts between 4 and 6 hours.
