Maria - Giant Colouring In Wall - Gloucestershire
Maria has been creating giant colouring-in walls internationally at festivals, parties, corporate events, weddings, galleries and art centres for more than three years. A passionate and talented artist, she is focused on spreading the creative bug to all and making the world a more colourful place.
Giant colouring-in walls are fully customisable. Do you need a certain size to fit above the fireplace? Or a theme to tie-in with your event? Or even a collection of images and ideas to mark your special day? Everything's possible! Your tailored picture is painted as an outline in advance, then finished by you and your guests. It's always a highly popular activity, fun for everyone to contribute regardless of their artistic ability. Once complete the art is yours to keep – whether it's displayed in a home, office, local community centre, auctioned for charity or won in a competition it will look fantastic, give people a sense of pride and capture the moment of your day.
This is for an original tailored piece of art designed exclusively for you by Maria, which you get to keep. Clients can chose either acrylic paint or paint pens to colour-in the work.
Standard Length of Performance:
This is a great all day activity, or it can run over a series of days, or just a few hours depending upon the size chosen. The average size for a one-day event is 6ft x 4ft. There is an optional 'scribble board' for younger and messier artists – recommended for children under the age of 10. On the day of the event, Maria will be on site to supervise, complete with art displayed upon easels, and all materials are provided.
“Superb, fantastic, amazing! Everyone loved the giant colouring-in picture at our wedding. It really brought people together and everybody just loved it. We really wanted a unique wedding gift from our friends on our special day and this was such an original way to get a very personalised gift from our nearest and dearest. Well done to Maria, she even incorporated our favourite bridge into the imagery - we love it!”

“We first came across this at Worcester Arts Workshop relaunch party where Maria did a big painting and everyone was getting stuck in and joining in with filling in the colours. When we decided to get married, I thought immediately of her painting and decided it would be a lovely community thing to do. We asked her to prepare a big canvas with an outline and had several requests of what to include. She then adapted our ideas and created a really beautiful template. All the guests took part in painting the picture on the day after the wedding outside and again it really drew the party together. It was a great way to involve everyone, young and old and nearly every guest contributed. It was not only a beautiful painting which we will cherish, but we also have great memories and photos of everyone painting their little section so it means so much to us! We are thrilled!”

“Giant colouring-in was a fantastic activity at our St. George’s Day Event. We really wanted some interactive arts activity that would be suitable to everyone. The public got fully stuck in and people took a real interest in what was developing. So many people from our local community contributed, and by the looks of it they really enjoyed themselves. We now display the piece up in the town’s main library. A fun creative attraction with a great result which will last for years.”

”What a great idea, everyone wanted to have a go. It really drew in the crowds at our event, as the piece kept changing and developing as more people added to it, lots of people came back as they wanted to do more. Really fun and super cool.”
