Hip Hop Dance Crew
ZooNation is one of the UK’s leading Hip Hop dance companies, creators of the Award Winning five star show ‘Into The Hoods’ – the longest running dance show the West End has ever seen. Under the artistic direction of choreographer Kate Prince the company have performed at some of the most high profile events of the last few years, and represented London in a landmark performance alongside the Royal Ballet and CandoCo at the Official Handover Ceremony at the Beijing Olympic Games. The company was also invited to perform at Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Celebrations in Hyde Park, and at the official opening of the Tour De France.
Kate Prince was one of the lead choreographers for the Box office hit ‘StreetDance 3D’ and is currently one of the resident choreographers for BBC1’s, ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. As well as this she has continued to lead ZooNation on various other performances such as the Laurence Oliver Awards 2011 and the new west end show ‘Some Like It Hip Hop’ due to open at the Peacock Theatre 2011.
ZooNation’s Hip Hop dancers have performed with the likes of Girls Aloud, The Wanted, JLS, N Dubz, Professor Green, The Saturdays, Alesha Dixon, Madonna, Cheryl Cole just to name a few. ZooNation can provide Hip Hop dancers, dance performances and dance workshops for all kinds of events. If you are launching a new product to the press, holding an awards ceremony, a party or conference ZooNation can present a stunning and unforgettable Hip Hop dance performance tailored to suit your event and budget.
With a choice of the UK’s best hip hop dancers, streetdancers, breakdancers and freestylers, as well as mixing in high-octane acrobatics, Lindy Hop, Jazz and Contemporary dance, ZooNation can create an innovative and exciting show to promote your product or entertain your guests. ZooNation has also performed at many events for corporate clients, including Hewlett-Packard at the ICC in Barcelona, launching the new Mazda 2 at the Geneva Motor Show, The Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, Affinion International and Tesco.
ZooNation can create bespoke performances for any event or can perform extracts from “Into the Hoods” and “Some Like It Hip Hop”. ZooNation require at least is 4x6m to perform, ideally 6x6m for 6 dancers and 8x8m for 8 dancers.
Standard Length of Performance: 1 x 5, 1 x 10 or 1 x 15 minute sets.
