It was also nominated for many awards and won a BAFTA for best Comedy Programme.

Her talent for writing resulted in her first book ‘A Matter of Life And Death: How To Wean A Man Off Football’ which was published with Faber & Faber. Ronni Ancona has also done various work for charities and was one of nine celebrities to take part in a Comic Relief Desert Trek through Kenya in 2011.
